Job summary

CITIBANK N.A. is seeking an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst in Singapore to contribute to applications systems analysis, design, and development. You will collaborate with technology teams to deliver robust software solutions and provide guidance to junior analysts.

Responsibilities include feasibility studies, system implementation, security considerations, and driving adherence to standards while managing project timelines in a fast-paced financial environment.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering technical growth and delivery
• Strong communication skills and end-to-end project ownership
• Extensive hands-on experience in Java, Spring Framework, and Spark development

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, time/cost estimates, IT planning and risk assessments
• Develop, test, and implement new or revised applications to meet business needs
• Monitor all phases of the development process and provide user support
• Analyze problems, evaluate business processes, and apply industry standards
• Recommend security measures and ensure system design and functionality
• Consult with users and other tech groups on issues and solutions
• Serve as advisor or coach to junior analysts
• Exercise independence and act as SME to stakeholders
• Assess risk in business decisions and ensure compliance with laws and policy
