Job summary

Advantest seeks an experienced IC testing professional in Singapore to provide pre-sales and post-sales support, drive test program development, and optimize test efficiency for customers.

You will lead projects, consult on hardware/software solutions, and train customers on test platforms. A Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics and 7–10 years in IC testing are required; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering is required.
• 7–10 years of working experience in IC testing.
• Good knowledge of Digital/Mixed signal test methodologies.
• Proficiency in Java and C++, scripting; knowledge on 93000 software is a plus.
• Experience in test program development and test floor exposure.
• Strong problem solving, good communication, self-motivated, customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to customers on semiconductor testing.
• Manage delivery and support of Test Program/Test Library creation or consultation.
• Offer hardware and software solution support for customer projects and production needs.
• Post-sales consulting including Test methodology creation, enhancements, and audit.
• Support and debug production issues (correlation, test time, yield discrepancies, RTE, hangs).
• Deliver application training and knowledge transfer to customers.

Job description

The incumbent is responsible for providing pre-sales and post-sales support to customers on semiconductor testing; maintaining customer satisfaction so as to maintain or become the preferred tester platform.

Job responsibilities

• Project management, delivery and support of Test Program/Test Library creation, conversion or consultation as required by Customer
• Provide support and consultation for Hardware and Software solutions for Customer Projects and Production requirements
• Post sales consulting and support including Test methodology creation, enhancements and modifications, Test hardware/ software feature recommendations and audit
• Support and debug production issues such as correlation, test time and yield discrepancy, RTE, hang-ups etc
• Delivery of application training, knowledge transfer and skill-up for Customer

• Bachelor’s Degree Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 7-10 years of working experience in IC testing industry
• Good knowledge of Digital/Mixed signal test methodologies
• Well versed with Java and C++, script programming, knowledge on 93000 software and debugging tools will be an added advantage
• Good experience in test program development and test floor exposures
• Strong problem solver with good technical capabilities, good communication skill, self-motivated, customer focus and result oriented
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Occasional travel may be required, sometimes on short notice
