Job summary

Cognizant Singapore is seeking an Appian Architect to own end-to-end technical design and delivery quality for Appian solutions serving government agencies. You will translate public-sector policy, data governance and security requirements into a scalable architecture, acting as the primary technical authority during solutioning and go-live.

You will lead governance reviews, drive complex integrations, and mentor senior developers while aligning with government IT policies and Smart Nation

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of hands-on Appian development/architecture experience and 10+ years overall in IT.
• Proven experience with Appian 20.x and above, including newer platform capabilities.
• Strong understanding of Appian security groups, role maps, and security inheritance.
• Advanced SAIL scripting skills for complex interfaces.
• Deep experience building and using CDTs, including nested and versioned data types.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale Task Reports, Records, Sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and design for Appian applications delivered to government clients.
• Define and govern Appian data models, CDT structures, and RDBMS design.
• Own the security architecture of Appian solutions and RBAC alignment.
• Design and review interfaces, process models, and reports for performance and maintainability.
• Architect external integrations with government platforms and data-exchange controls.
• Mentor developers and enforce coding/design standards.
• Lead workshops with government stakeholders to translate policy into architecture.
• Oversee Appian environment strategy and DevOps practices across tiers.
• Drive remediation from HealthCheck, logs, and performance diagnostics.
