Job summary

NCS Group is seeking a Technical Architect (Platform Architect) to own the design, governance, and technical integrity of enterprise data platforms for Singapore Government digital services. This role emphasizes secure, scalable, and compliant cloud and hybrid data platforms, pairing architectural intent with hands-on engineering leadership.

You will guide platform design, development, migration, and optimisation, ensuring accreditation and regulatory requirements are met across multiple agency

Qualifications

8–12+ years in platform architecture, infrastructure engineering, or data engineering.
Hands-on with AWS and/or Azure and modern data platforms such as Databricks/Snowflake.
Experience in government or highly regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and govern enterprise data platform architectures, covering cloud infrastructure, data services, security, and integration layers.
Define platform standards, reference architectures, and reusable components aligned to government accreditation needs.
Ensure architectural consistency and long-term sustainability across multiple agency platforms.
Provide deep technical leadership on platform build, migration, and optimisation initiatives.
Mentor engineers and uplift platform engineering capability across teams.
