Job summary

Singapore’s longest established bank is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain microservices-based APIs using Java and WSO2, across on-premises and AWS environments.

You will collaborate with product owners, business analysts and engineers to translate requirements into scalable API solutions, implement security controls, and contribute to continuous learning in a fast-paced, agile setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on software engineering in enterprise apps.
• 5 years end-to-end payments domain experience.
• Experience with API and microservices development using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.
• Experience with AWS and containerized apps.
• Experience with Kafka/IBM MQ.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain microservices-based APIs with Java and WSO2.
• Translate business requirements into scalable API solutions.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Ensure API security, governance and lifecycle management.
• Prepare technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews.
• Provide production support and troubleshooting for payment APIs.
