Job summary
OCBC Bank is seeking an experienced API & Middleware Engineer in Singapore to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade APIs and microservices. You will work across on-premises and AWS, ensuring scalable, secure, and well-governed API solutions while guiding a team of engineers.
You will collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and cross-functional teams to implement robust payment and integration capabilities, leveraging modern cloud-native practices and AI-assisted engineering tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and WSO2 technologies across on-premises and AWS cloud environments.
- Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers, promoting engineering excellence and best practices.
- Partner with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable API solutions.
- Drive API governance, security, and lifecycle management including OAuth2, JWT, and mTLS.
