Job summary

Hello Planet PTE. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Android Engineer in Singapore to lead iterative development of our global dating app. You will shape the Android experience with Java/Kotlin, implement scalable architectures, and mentor junior engineers, all while collaborating with Product, Design and Backend teams.

The role requires deep Android expertise, strong performance optimization skills, and fluency in English with proficiency in Chinese. Based in Singapore, reporting to the CTO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Android development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Fluent English; proficiency in Chinese required.

Responsibilities

• Lead iterative development of our Android app to ensure robust functionality and seamless UX.
• Optimize the Android client framework for performance, efficiency and scalability.
• Architect and implement scalable, maintainable software aligned with product goals.
