Job summary

Pictet is seeking a senior member for its Asia alternatives platform to act as a product and investment expert across private equity, real estate, hedge funds and related strategies. You will partner with senior client-facing teams to design bespoke solutions for sophisticated private and institutional clients in Asia, including marketing, portfolio design and client communications.

You will lead high-impact pitches, develop differentiated investment proposals, and co‑lead reviews in engagements

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in alternative investments, including buy-side, multi-manager, private banking advisory, or similar roles.
• Significant exposure to hedge funds and/or private markets.
• Strong understanding of portfolio construction, performance, and risk metrics for alternative strategies.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to clients.
• Strong analytical skills, rigor and attention to details.
• Experience managing complex structures, documentation, and multi-jurisdictional setups.
• Proven team player with client-focused mindset and integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin with UHNW and institutional clients across Asia.

Responsibilities

• Lead client marketing, pitching and portfolio design for PE, RE, HF and other private markets opportunities.
• Draft client communications on new opportunities and implementation options.
• Participate in client meetings and articulate strategies, structures and allocations across asset classes.
• Build differentiated portfolio proposals with back tests and simulations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly client reports with fund-level commentary, performance and risk analysis.
• Co-lead reviews with PWM Relationship Managers and Investment Specialists in top-tier client meetings.
• Coordinate pre-trade materials and work with middle office and legal for execution.
