Job summary

OCBC is seeking an AI Validation Specialist (AVP) in Singapore to validate the bank’s AI solutions and ensure governance compliance. The role involves hands-on testing of traditional models and GenAI systems, identifying risks, and providing actionable recommendations.

Reporting to the Group Data Office, you will develop testing methodologies, validate guardrails, and communicate findings to Risk, Technology and senior management. A strong background in AI governance is required.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related AI Governance discipline.
• 5–8 years’ experience in model validation and testing within a bank or another regulated environment.
• Ability to critically assess complex AI systems and propose controls.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent validation of traditional ML models across the full lifecycle.
• Design validation frameworks for GenAI and agentic AI systems.
• Review model evaluation results and assess grounding, retrieval, and fairness.
• Document findings and communicate validation outcomes to stakeholders.
