Job summary

Cloudera seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer - Artificial Intelligence to bridge data architectures with actionable AI outcomes. You will own the technical sales lifecycle from initial discovery to post-sales success, upselling, and renewals.

Design AI solutions with Cloudera technologies, and evangelize our roadmap to executives, aligning customer needs with practical, scalable AI roadmaps. Strong data, cloud, and governance expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in a customer-facing role (pre-sales or solutions engineering).
• Deep experience with Data Engineering, Data Science, or Machine Learning.
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP and hybrid deployment concepts.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and operations for enterprise AI.
• Experience with Big Data, data warehousing, and relational databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to whiteboard complex architectures.
• Demonstrated drive to learn and apply new AI use cases for customers.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical sales lifecycle from discovery to post-sales success and renewals.
• Architect AI solutions using Cloudera technologies and reference architectures.
• Present product roadmap and align AI strategy with C-level stakeholders.
• Create compelling technical demonstrations and customer-facing presentations.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to articulate business value and outcomes.
• Gather field feedback to influence product roadmap and governance.
