Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior AI/HPC Engineer to join its infrastructure Specialist team in Singapore. You will deploy, manage and maintain AI/HPC infrastructure in Linux environments for new and existing customers, and serve as the domain expert during planning and implementation phases.

You’ll hand over documentation, perform knowledge transfers, and provide feedback to engineering teams by reporting issues, workarounds, and improvement ideas. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• 5+ years providing in-depth support and deployment services for hardware and software products.
• Knowledge and experience with Linux System Administration, process management, package management, task scheduling, kernel management, boot procedures/troubleshooting, performance reporting/optimization/logging, network routing/advanced networking (tuning and monitoring).
• Cluster management technologies.
• Scripting proficiency.
• Good interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written English.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize/multi-task with limited supervision.
• Industry-standard Linux certifications.
• Experience with Schedulers such as SLURM, LSF, UGE, etc.

Responsibilities

• Deploying, managing and maintaining AI/HPC infrastructure in Linux-based environments for new and existing customers.
• Be the domain expert with customers during planning calls through implementation.
• Handover-related documentation and knowledge transfers to support customers as they roll out complex systems.
• Provide feedback to internal teams by opening bugs, documenting workarounds, and suggesting improvements.
