Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the AI / LLM Enablement team. You will design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable software across UI and backend services to enable compliant access to approved AI/LLM capabilities for China users within a global enterprise.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, secure coding practices, and collaboration within an agile team to advance trusted technology products and observability while meeting enterprise security standards.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with Python and ReactJS in a large corporate environment.
• Experience building and operating services on AWS, including monitoring and security.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions and develops UI and backend services enabling compliant LLM access.
• Creates secure production code and maintains services and APIs with approved LLM endpoints.
• Uses enterprise AI tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity.
• Applies SDLC tools and ensures security and resiliency in design and implementation.
• Produces architecture artifacts for complex applications with proper access controls.
• Gathers and analyzes data for continuous improvement of software applications.
