Qualifications

• > Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• • Proven track record building and delivering highly scalable platforms (multithreaded, distributed systems).
• • Strong expertise in modern UI technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript) and core Java with solid OOP fundamentals.
• • Hands-on enterprise development with event-driven architecture and production code debugging.
• • Ability to partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into actionable roadmaps.
• • Strong problem-solving, judgment, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
• • AI practitioner with hands-on experience using AI coding/agent tools (e.g., Copilot/Codex/Claude Code).
• • Experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and secure coding practices.
• • Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• > Support critical portfolio management applications in production, triage incidents, restore service, and drive stability improvements.
• • Design scalable, high-performance systems from portfolio construction to implementation workflows.
• • Translate investment workflows into intuitive tools with PMs, product partners, and engineering peers.
• • Architect and implement event-driven/streaming capabilities (e.g., Kafka) with observability and data quality controls.
• • Drive engineering best practices: clean code, automated testing, CI/CD, peer reviews, security.
• • Champion AI-assisted development practices and standardize AI engineering patterns.
• • Contribute to a culture of inclusion, respect, and shared ownership.
• • Leverage AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, speed, and productivity with peer validation.
