Job summary

Singtel is hiring a data platform engineer to design, build, and operate scalable data ingestion, transformation, and serving capabilities on a modern hybrid cloud data platform. You will ensure reliability, security, and governance while enabling analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of data engineering, data platform experience with production pipelines.
• Experience designing and operating batch/streaming data pipelines with orchestration and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines on a modern hybrid cloud platform.
• Develop batch and streaming pipelines with Databricks and Kafka, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Deliver reliable data for analytics, reporting, and ML use cases; support GenAI initiatives.
• Own production readiness, observability, incident triage, and CI/CD automation.
