Job summary

Singtel’s AIDA team invites you to register interest for the Senior AI Data Engineer role. You will design, build, and operate scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines across a modern hybrid cloud platform, with a strong focus on reliability, security, and governance.

You will work with Databricks, Kafka, Delta Lake, and GenAI-related knowledge base/RAG solutions, ensuring production-ready, observable pipelines while collaborating with engineers, architects, and business partners.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in data engineering, data platform engineering, or cloud-scale analytics solution delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data transformation and validation.
• Proven ability to design, build, optimise, and operate production-grade batch or streaming data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable data ingestion, transformation, and serving pipelines using Databricks and Kafka.
• Ensure data quality, security, and observability across pipelines and platforms.
• Lead integration of data from diverse source systems and maintain metadata/documentation.
• Own production readiness for data and AI platform components, including incident triage and runbooks.
