Job summary

Singtel is hiring a data engineering professional to design, build, and operate scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines across a modern cloud data platform. You will work with Databricks, Kafka, PySpark, and Delta Lake to deliver reliable data for analytics and ML use cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of data engineering, data platform, or cloud analytics delivery.
• Proven ability to design, build, operate production-grade data pipelines and platforms.
• Hands-on Python and SQL for data transformation and validation.
• Experience with PySpark and large-scale data processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable data ingestion, transformation, and serving on a modern data platform.
• Develop batch and streaming pipelines using Databricks and Kafka.
• Provide reliable data for analytics, reporting, and ML use cases.
• Lead knowledge base and RAG solution stacks for GenAI use cases.
• Integrate data from diverse sources and ensure data quality and governance.
• Maintain metadata and pipeline documentation.
• Ensure production readiness, observability, and incident response.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, product owners, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to automation with version control and CI/CD.
