Job summary

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) together with the Financial Infrastructure & Artificial Intelligence Office (FIA) seeks an experienced technology strategist to shape long-term AI technology strategy and architecture for Singapore’s financial sector.

You will assess emerging AI/data technologies, develop roadmaps, and engage stakeholders across industry, technology providers, academia and government to enable responsible AI adoption.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in technology strategy or enterprise architecture in finance or public sector.
• Strong understanding of AI and data technologies and their impact on financial services.
• Ability to translate tech advances into industry strategies and infrastructure priorities.
• Experience building technology roadmaps and target-state architectures.
• Analytical mindset with ability to evaluate opportunities and risks for business and policy.
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders across industry, technology providers, academia and government.
• Excellent written communication; ability to prepare strategy papers and briefing materials.

Responsibilities

• Technology Strategy: Assess emerging AI, data and digital infrastructure technologies and their implications for the financial sector.
• Future-State Architecture: Develop strategic roadmaps and reference architectures for future financial-sector capabilities.
• Industry Standards & Interoperability: Advance approaches to interoperability, digital identity, data exchange and trusted AI adoption.
• Industry Engagement: Engage financial institutions, technology firms, researchers and public-sector agencies to build consensus on future technology priorities.
• Strategic Advisory: Provide technical input to industry-development, policy and national AI initiatives.
