Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive for a Singapore-based company in Tuas, serving the marine-related industry. You will oversee daily accounting operations, GST/compliance, month-end closing and audit support with strong financial controls.

The successful candidate has 5–8 years of accounting experience, hands-on AP/AR, taxation, and is proficient in MYOB; Odoo knowledge is a plus. 5-day work week, 9am-6pm, with salary up to $4,500 basic plus VB.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in AP, AR, GST, taxation and month-end closing.
• Proficient in MYOB; Odoo knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice verification, payments and supplier reconciliations.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, ageing, SOA preparation and collections follow-up.
• Prepare GST and statutory filings, and support corporate tax computations with external tax agents.
• Maintain the general ledger and support month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with internal/external auditors.
• Perform accounting operations using MYOB and support Odoo ERP-related activities where required.
• Support process improvements, internal controls and accounting system enhancements.
