Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or ACCA/CPA/CA.
• 3–5 years accounting and bookkeeping experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Proficient Excel: Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Meticulous, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily and monthly accounting activities, including accounts payable processing and journal entries.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Respond to accounting and finance enquiries from internal stakeholders and provide operational support.
• Liaise with intercompany counterparts and external vendors for ledger balance reconciliations.
• Participate in accounting system enhancements including SAP and CTRM systems.
• Prepare and analyse budgets and forecasts against monthly results, and generate management reports.
• Prepare and review financial statements, accounting records, and consolidation reporting packages.
• Assist with annual audited financial statements and other statutory reporting requirements.
• Support ad hoc accounting projects as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily and monthly accounting activities, including accounts payable processing and journal entries.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Respond to accounting and finance enquiries from internal stakeholders and provide operational support.
• Liaise with intercompany counterparts and external vendors to perform ledger balance reconciliations.
• Participate in accounting system enhancement and implementation projects, including SAP and Commodity Trading Risk Management (CTRM) systems.
• Prepare and analyse budgets and forecasts against monthly actual results, and generate management reports.
• Prepare and review financial statements, accounting records, and quarterly consolidation reporting packages.
• Assist with annual audited financial statements and other statutory reporting requirements.
• Support ad hoc accounting projects and assignments as required.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting and bookkeeping experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
• Experience with accounting and ERP systems, preferably SAP, SAP GBS, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Meticulous, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
