The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in a similar role, with a Diploma/ Degree in Accounting or Finance. Proficiency in Excel is essential, and knowledge of IFRS/SFRS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Good working knowledge of accounting principles; familiarity with IFRS/SFRS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts independently and ensure IFRS/SFRS compliance.
• Manage Accounts Payable, invoicing, TT forms, and payments via corporate online banking.
• Bookkeeping, data entry, and recording transactions; familiar with Sage 50 and QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and reports; consolidate with parent/subsidiaries.
• Maintain GST listings and file accurate quarterly GST returns.
• Liaise with auditors and banks; provide supporting documents as needed.
• Support Finance Manager on ad-hoc accounting and admin tasks.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accounts Executive / Accounts Executive to join our Accounting & Finance team. You will be responsible for a broad range of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting and day-to-day finance operations.

This role is suitable for junior to mid-level accounting professionals who are meticulous, well-organised, and capable of handling end-to-end accounting functions while continuing to develop their technical and professional skills.

Position: Junior Accounts Executive / Accounts Executive

Location: Central area

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts independently and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, including IFRS/SFRS .
• Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) functions, including invoice verification, payment processing, preparation of Telegraphic Transfer (TT) forms, and initiate of payments through corporate internet banking.
• Perform daily accounting duties, including bookkeeping, data entry, and recording of transactions in accounting systems. Familiarity with Sage 50 Accounting and QuickBooks Online would be an advantage.
• Prepare and finalise monthly management accounts and management reports assigned by the Group finance centre within the required deadlines.
• Prepare consolidated management accounts for the parent company and its subsidiary/subsidiaries.
• Maintain GST listings and prepare accurate quarterly GST returns for submission.
• Liaise with auditors and banks, respond to queries, and provide the necessary supporting documents and information.
• Support the Finance Manager on ad-hoc accounting, finance and administrative matters as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline .
• Good working knowledge of accounting principles and basic familiarity with IFRS/SFRS .
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin would be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Meticulous, organised, and able to prioritise tasks according to urgency and importance while meeting deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office , especially Excel and Word, and comfortable using accounting software.
