Job summary

PKF-CAP Corporate Services PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day outsourced finance functions, including AP processing, claim processing and month-end closings for a portfolio of companies.

You will perform bank reconciliations, prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packages, and handle ad-hoc assignments. Mandarin reading/communication is required due to supplier reviews and contract documents in Chinese.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of accounting and finance experience.
• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Knowledge of SFRS, IFRS and general accounting practices.
• Knowledge of internal control, risk management and corporate governance.
• Mandarin reading/communication required due to Mandarin-speaking suppliers and Chinese documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Handle day to day outsourced finance function, including AP processing, claim processing
• Handle month end closing for a portfolio of companies;

• Undertake ad-hoc assignment assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• At least 3 to 4 years of relevant accounting and finance experience;
• Degree in Accountancy, Singapore CA, ACCA, CPA Australia or their equivalent.
• Good knowledge of SFRS, IFRS and generally acceptable accounting practices.
• Good knowledge of internal control, risk management and corporate governance.
• Ability to read and communicate in Mandarin is required as the role involves frequent interaction with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and the review of business documents and contracts prepared in Chinese.
• Sincere and committed, good time management and problem-solving skill, resourceful, proactive, able to work independently within fast-paced environment, effective verbal, and written communication skill.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

This position is based full-time at the client's premises and requires on-site attendance five days per week due to operational and business requirements.

This position is a 1 year contract.
