Job summary

RecruitPedia Pte Ltd is assisting a leading energy storage terminal operator in Singapore to recruit a Senior Accountant. The role is based at Jurong Island with transport provided from Jurong East and Lakeside MRT.

You will manage full‑cycle accounting, monitor cash flow, prepare statutory and group reports, ensure SFRS compliance, and coordinate audits with auditors and authorities. The ideal candidate has at least five years of accounting experience and preferably exposure to O&G sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy/Business or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with supervision of junior staff.
• O&G industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and tax reporting.
• Monitor working capital, cash flow forecasts, bank reconciliations and cash management.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including balance sheet reconciliation and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with SFRS, statutory requirements and internal controls, while improving financial processes.
• Coordinate annual statutory audits, internal audits and liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary and government authorities.
• Prepare business and statistical surveys, and support the Finance Manager in other projects and ad hoc assignments.
