Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant Manager, Finance to join the FP&A team supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling for an energy storage terminal client. The role is based in Singapore with transit provided from Jurong Island.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in FP&A, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and ERP/Oracle experience, and the ability to lead end-to-end budgeting and reporting cycles while driving improvements in dashboards and automation.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of FP&A or related experience (O&G industry advantageous).
• Analytical and meticulous with strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Working knowledge of ERP/Oracle systems for financial modeling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, modeling and performance analysis.
• Own end-to-end annual budget process and forecasting cycle with cross-functional alignment.
• Analyze variances, identify risks and opportunities, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Build models for revenue, opex, capex and cash flow; run scenario analyses.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual management reports and boards/audits.
• Develop dashboards and automation for FP&A processes.

Job description

Our client is an energy storage terminal, delivering secure, efficient and reliable storage solutions for the energy industry.. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Assistant Manager, Finance to join their FP&A team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team.

They are located in Jurong Island – company transport provided from Jurong East MRT.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to Senior Finance Manager

• Hands‑on role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and performance analysis.
• Lead the annual budget process and forecast cycle end‑to‑end, including timelines, templates, and consolidation. Collaborate cross‑functionally to align the financial targets with business and operational drivers.
• Perform quality review of the financial performance variances, analyzing trends and investigating root causes, and communicate key findings, risks and opportunities to improve performance to internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain financial models for revenue, opex, profit margin, capex and cash flow. Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis for strategic review.

• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual reporting for management review, board meetings and statutory audits (including preparation of audited financial statements).

• Prepare management presentation decks, business reviews and financial highlights of key performance indicators, trends and areas of concern.
• Contribute towards improvement of the reporting process, analysis tools, presentation and reporting templates. Develop dashboards, data visualizations and automation within FP&A.

• Work closely with Finance Manager to ensure quality credit reviews, loan covenants compliance, and assist in other projects and adhoc assignments as required.

Requirements:

Education

• Degree in Accountancy/Business or equivalent

Experience

• At least 5-8 years of FP&A or related experience (O&G industry experience will be advantageous)
• Analytical and meticulous with excellent MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Working knowledge of ERP/Oracle systems with ability to develop financial models and reporting dashboards will be a clear advantage
