Job summary

JULIAN GREY CORPORATE ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking a competent accounting professional to supervise the finance team in financial accounting and corporate reporting.

You will ensure compliance with policies and statutory requirements and prepare financial statements, notes, consolidated accounts and management reports with accuracy and timeliness. You will also maintain GL entries, reconcile balances, support budgeting and forecasting, coordinate audits and GST/tax matters, and use Microsoft

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; ACCA would be an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years in an accounting role; candidates who have handled a complete set of accounts are preferred.
• Hands-on experience maintaining the general ledger, reconciling balances, completing monthly closing and preparing financial reports.
• Working knowledge of SFRS and Singapore GST requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the finance team in financial accounting and corporate reporting, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Prepare financial statements, disclosure notes, consolidated accounts and management reports accurately and on time.
• Maintain journal entries and allocations, reconcile accounts and analyse financial transactions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, business and financial asset valuations, and cost-of-capital and capital allocation assessments.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable and provide financial information to support working capital planning and funding strategies.
• Coordinate annual audits, respond to auditor queries and resolve audit findings. Implement policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls and prevent errors and fraud.
• Prepare and review GST reporting and submissions and coordinate corporate income tax matters with external tax preparers.
• Process transactions and extract financial data using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to support reporting and management analysis.
