Job summary

Stripe Tax Senior Account Executive in Singapore will sell and drive revenue for Stripe Tax across APAC, helping businesses comply with indirect tax laws while expanding to new markets. You’ll engage with customers at multiple levels, from business units to C‑suite, shaping how Stripe Tax is adopted and valued.

You’ll own the sales cycle, build strategic relationships, and collaborate with product, partnerships, marketing, and customer success to accelerate growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales or prospecting experience at a technology company.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is required to engage with complex China-based merchants.
• Experience selling Tax solutions, financial services or similar software.
• Proven ability to own a direct sales quota and close new business or expansions.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue for Stripe Tax in APAC and lead the sales process for a variety of customers.
• Lead discussions with largest existing and prospective customers across APAC (SEA, Greater China, Australia, New Zealand).
• Contribute to go-to-market playbooks with product, marketing, sales, and technical services stakeholders.
• Articulate Stripe Tax value propositions to stakeholders including technical teams and C-suite executives.
• Develop a deep understanding of indirect tax requirements of potential customers.
• Build and maintain relationships guiding customers through the sales process and successful implementation.
• Collaborate with product, partnerships, engineering, marketing, and customer success to ensure client satisfaction and growth.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends in data, analytics, and reporting to identify opportunities.
