Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced Platform Account Executive for the Southeast Asia region based in Singapore. You will build partnerships with top SaaS Platform partners, guiding them on how Stripe's payments infrastructure can become a competitive advantage for their customers.

You will navigate complex organizations, develop outbound strategies, and work with cross-functional teams from engineering to finance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience directly selling a technology product or service to the Southeast Asia region at an API-first company.
• Proven track record of moving sales processes from inception to close with a consultative approach.
• Strong listening skills and ability to be a trusted resource for decision-makers across technology and finance orgs.
• Ability to understand complex technical problems and discuss Stripe’s API with engineers.
• Positive attitude and tireless work ethic in the face of blockers.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Strong interest in technology and fintech.
• Excellent CRM hygiene and weekly/quarterly forecasting discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for upper middle market and enterprise companies, showcasing Stripe value in competitive processes and applying highly-technical product knowledge.
• Identify and engage with high-potential existing SaaS Platforms, building long-term strategic relationships.
• Lead multi-functional product workshops and financial analyses with leaders from Engineering, Product, and Finance at existing users.
• Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities within Southeast Asia.
• Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and orchestrate executive touch points.
• Develop relationships with executive stakeholders at new and existing clients.
