Job summary

GREENSAFE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated specialist to identify, design and implement SEN support structures for students.

You will provide in-class support, individual and small-group interventions, and remediation, and coordinate transition support for incoming Sec 1 students with SEN, engaging parents on the SEN Support Plan. You will maintain intervention records, work with subject teachers on practical classroom supports, monitor effectiveness, and collaborate with parents

Qualifications

• Degree in special education is required.
• Ability to analyse and solve problems.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify, design, and implement SEN support structures and strategies.

• Invigilate and conduct observations during assessments/exams.
• Conduct interventions during school holidays as required.
• Support students with SEN during school events as an adult supervisor.

Job description

Hours: Mon-Thu 8:00am-3:30pm; Fri 8:00am-1:00pm

Key Roles

• Identify, design, and implement support structures/strategies for students with SEN
• Provide in-class support, individual/small-group interventions, and specialised remediation
• Provide transition support for incoming Sec 1 students with SEN (engaging parents on the SEN Support Plan)
• Maintain records of interventions, support provided, and progress
• Work with subject teachers to implement practical classroom supports
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and refine them
• Collaborate and consult with parents and external agencies/professionals
• Invigilate and conduct observations during school-based assessments/exams
• Conduct interventions and specialised remediation during June school holidays
• Provide resources and organise workshops with the Student Wellbeing team to strengthen teachers' capabilities
• Support students with SEN during school-based events as an adult supervisor

Requirements

• At least a degree in special education
• Ability to analyse and solve problems
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders
• Preferably 3 years of relevant working experience
