Job summary

Emerson Asia Pacific Private Limited is seeking an Applications and Systems Engineer to design, implement and deploy semiconductor test solutions. You will collaborate with customers, sales teams, engineering colleagues, and partners to deliver reliable, high-performing test systems that meet business objectives.

The role combines systems engineering, customer engagement, hardware integration, and project execution, with travel to support deployments.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Experience developing, integrating, or designing semiconductor test systems.
• Knowledge of semiconductor testing (RFIC/mixed-signal) and validation.
• Experience with software or system development and test platforms.
• Programming in C++, Java, Python; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and partners to define, develop, and deploy semiconductor test solutions.
• Gather and document requirements; contribute to statements of work.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead project activities with quality and performance standards.
• Install, configure, and support test systems at customer sites; perform acceptance testing.
• Evaluate hardware solutions and data communication protocols for device-under-test needs.
• Support modular test hardware integration into turnkey systems.
• Assess system performance, reliability, and cost effectiveness; optimize outcomes.
• Travel ~20% domestically and internationally to customer engagements.
