Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is expanding its marketing and sales team in Singapore. The role focuses on developing marketing plans and product positioning to strengthen our competitive stance while coordinating pricing strategies with engineering and manufacturing.

You will oversee market research, identify customer requirements, prepare quotes, and manage orders. The position requires travel, strong communication, and the ability to work independently within a dynamic semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Willingness to travel and devote extended hours to handle challenging sales projects.
• Strong communication and good interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous, organized and resourceful team player.
• Highly motivated individual who works independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop marketing plans and activities for specific product lines to enhance placement in a competitive market.
• Develop business plans and product positioning in the marketplace.
• Oversee market research, monitor competition and identify customer requirements.
• Establish pricing strategies with engineering, manufacturing and sales for new or existing products.
• Prepare pricing quotes, negotiate final prices and document orders.
• Manage follow up on accounts receivable.
• Present product roadmaps and capabilities to customers and translate customer needs to business units.
• Maintain coverage and documentation for assigned customers and develop action plans.
• Identify current and future customer service requirements through strong customer rapport.
• Collaborate with sales to develop the annual sales budget.
