Job summary

KLA is seeking an experienced Upgrade Projects Lead in Singapore to drive product upgrade initiatives for SFS inspection systems. You will manage hardware installations, software configurations, and system calibrations while coordinating with manufacturing and field service teams.

You will perform system-level testing, analyze performance data, and document procedures. Expect extensive travel (80–90%) to support customers and ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in product development, integration, or field engineering within the semiconductor equipment industry.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment, particularly inspection systems.
• Proven experience with hardware integration, software configuration, and system-level troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical approach to complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
• Ability to travel internationally approximately 80–90% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute product upgrade projects for SFS inspection systems.
• Develop, validate, and document upgrade procedures, including hardware installation, software configuration, and system calibration.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and field service teams to define upgrade requirements and ensure seamless integration.
• Perform system-level testing and troubleshooting to verify upgrade performance and resolve technical issues.
• Implement test plans and methodologies to validate new features and improvements.
• Analyze system performance data and customer feedback to identify areas for continuous improvement in upgrade offerings.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of upgrade procedures, test results, and system configurations.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations throughout the upgrade process.
