Job summary

KLA Corporation is looking for an experienced engineer to lead upgrade projects for SFS inspection systems in a global setting. You will develop procedures, calibrate hardware and configure software, while collaborating with manufacturing and field teams to ensure seamless integration.

You will perform system-level testing, analyze performance data, and maintain thorough documentation to meet quality and safety standards, with substantial international travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in product development, integration, or field engineering within the semiconductor equipment industry.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment, particularly inspection systems.
• Proven experience with hardware integration, software configuration, and system-level troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical approach to complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally approximately 80-90% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute product upgrade projects for SFS inspection systems.
• Develop, validate, and document upgrade procedures, including hardware installation, software configuration, and system calibration.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and field service teams to define upgrade requirements and ensure seamless integration.
• Perform system-level testing and troubleshooting to verify upgrade performance and resolve technical issues.
• Implement test plans and methodologies to validate new features and improvements.
• Analyze system performance data and customer feedback to identify areas for continuous improvement in upgrade offerings.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of upgrade procedures, test results, and system configurations.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations throughout the upgrade process.
