Job summary

KLA Corporation is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Singapore to deliver hands-on field service for semiconductor equipment, including repair, maintenance, installation and relocation start-up at customer wafer fabs. You will troubleshoot complex issues, train customers, and maintain strong customer relations while traveling as needed.

The role requires a degree in engineering, strong communication, initiative, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Willingness to travel on short notice; transport allowance provided.
Experience with semiconductor capital equipment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Field service activities: repair, preventive maintenance, installation and relocation start-up of complex equipment at customer wafer fab facility.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime through diagnostics.
Provide customer orientation and technical training on maintenance of equipment.
Represent KLA professionally and maintain customer relations.
Interface with customers at management and engineer levels.
Prepare field service reports and communicate recurring problems to support functions.
Remain up to date on equipment/tools through training and manuals.
