Job summary

STMicroelectronics Singapore is seeking a Material Planner responsible for Fab material availability, maintaining material requirement and inventory models, and driving supply chain continuity to meet production schedules.

You will analyse BOM data, forecast demand, optimise inventory, and work with suppliers and internal teams. A Bachelor’s or Master’s in supply chain or related field with 2–5 years in semiconductors, SAP ERP experience, and proficiency in Excel/Power BI is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Operations Management, or equivalent.
2- 5 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in material planning, and production control, process engineering or equivalent.
Extensive knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel. Power Query, Power BI etc)
Additional coding skills (e.g., Python, SQL, VBA) are a strong plus for automation and data analysis.
Requires excellent coordination and organizing skills to manage multiple material suppliers and internal stakeholders.
High level of multi-tasking and capability to prioritize material shortages to meet strict production schedules.
Proficient in Business Communication and Written skills for vendor management and cross-functional alignment

Responsibilities

Ensure data integrity of the material planning database (BOM, lead times, safety stock levels).
Perform material analysis and demand forecasting against the production schedule.
Drive operations for improvement in material usage, waste reduction, and excess inventory management.
Lead programs related to supplier lead time efficiency, inventory optimization, and warehouse space utilization.
