Job summary

Accretech (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Entry Level Field Service Engineer to provide hands-on support for semiconductor equipment at customer sites, locally and overseas.

You will install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance while coordinating with HQ and Sales. The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering, up to 1 year of service experience, strong problem solving, and willingness to travel across the Central Region.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar service engineer or field service role, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong technical aptitude and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining complex electromechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
• Customer-focused mindset and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel within the Central Region to support customer sites as needed.
• Proficiency in English & Mandarin, both written and verbal. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide Hands-on technical support for Semiconductor’s group machine installation, setup, buy-off, upgrade, troubleshooting, repairing and preventive maintenance at customers sites both locally and overseas.
• Prepare reports which inclusive of service reports and provide feedback on technical issues with regards to machine performance.
• To update the Management and other concerned personnel on the activities and progress of the job.
• Respond to customer requests to troubleshoot problems and take corrective actions within deadline by communicating and work closely with HQ and Sales Personnel.
• Conduct training on proper operation of the machine at customer’s site.
• Develop and maintain close relationships with customers.
• Assist with ad hoc tasks to support ongoing projects and business needs as assigned by the manager.
