Job summary

AEM Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Design Quality Engineer to support the development and qualification of semiconductor equipment. You will focus on test planning, reliability validation, and data analysis to ensure high product performance.

Responsibilities include creating test plans, conducting ALT and stress tests, and performing statistical analyses to drive quality improvements with suppliers and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of qualification test planning, test instrumentation, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Solid background in statistical analysis (DOE, Cpk, t-test, regression, reliability analysis).
• Proactive and results-oriented, with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Minitab and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans to qualify new designs based on customer use cases.
• Design and implement ALT and stress tests for high-value components.
• Perform statistical analysis of test and reliability data; prepare reports and summaries.
• Evaluate component quality and collaborate with suppliers on quality improvements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and coordinate with engineering teams.
• Log and track defects through corrective action closure.
• Maintain 5S standards in ALT laboratory.
• Perform routine safety checks and maintenance of lab equipment.
