Job summary

GNA Engineering PTE. LTD. invites applications for a Field Service Engineer / Customer Engineer to support installation, maintenance, and upgrades at customer sites within the semiconductor sector.

You will work with Senior Field Service Engineers, diagnose issues using digital tools, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance across electrical, vacuum, plasma, hydraulic, and gas delivery systems. Applicants should have an associate degree or equivalent, 1–2 years' field service

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent field service education.
• 1–2 years of field service or related technical experience.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum technology, and thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and test equipment such as digital multimeters.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license and passport if travel is required.
• Ability to comply with customer site safety, environmental, and health requirements.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Frequent walking and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, reaching, and climbing ladders or stairs.
• Ability to work at heights and lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg).
• Capability to distinguish colors for electrical and equipment work.
• Comfortable working around electrical systems and in noisy environments.
• Regular use of hand tools and power tools.
