Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, economics, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in PMO, Strategy, Corporate Development, Business Transformation, or Chief of Staff roles within a large multinational or matrixed corporate setup.
• Experience in HVAC, building technologies, energy management, industrial products, or adjacent technology sectors is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional portfolios and transformation programs across regional or global matrixed environments.
• Strong commercial, organizational, and financial acumen with proven expertise in business case development, portfolio prioritization, resource planning, and risk management.
• Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to distil complex, multi-dimensional inputs into concise briefs and presentations.
• Proven capability to influence senior executives, build cross-cultural and cross-functional alignment

Responsibilities

• Establish and operate the segment PMO cadence, governance frameworks, and milestone tracking for strategic initiatives.
• Translate complex inputs into decision-ready recommendations and briefing materials for executives.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa, resolving roadblocks without direct authority.
• Support HR, Finance, and leaders to optimize the segment’s operating model and governance workflows.
• Lead high-impact, ambiguous strategic assignments delegated by the Executive Director or segment leadership.

About This Role

The Segment President Office PMO & Projects Lead serves as a trusted execution partner to the CSAME leadership team, driving discipline and ensuring alignment with the executive agenda. Operating from the Segment President’s Office, this role orchestrates cross-functional collaboration and establishes robust governance to deliver key growth and transformation initiatives across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa. A core capability of this role is distilling complex, multi-dimensional inputs into concise, decision-ready recommendations. By continuously refining the segment's governance framework, the Lead collaborates with functional and business teams to push key strategic projects forward and enable agile executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Execution & Governance - Establish and operate the segment’s PMO cadence, governance frameworks, and milestone tracking across all strategic, growth, and transformation initiatives. Actively monitor portfolio healthy by identifying bottlenecks, dependencies, and resource constraints to ensure disciplined execution against approved business cases.
• Executive Decision Enablement - Serve as a trusted execution partner to the CSAME leadership team. Synthesize complex, multi-dimensional business inputs, performance risks, and critical issues into concise, decision-ready recommendations and briefing materials.
• Cross-Functional Orchestration - Drive cross-functional alignment and resolve interdepartmental roadblocks across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa. Leverage strong stakeholder management to influence and execute leadership decisions across diverse functional and business zone teams without direct authority.
• Organizational Effectiveness & Norms - Partner with and support HR, Finance, and Zone & Business leaders to optimize the segment's operating model. Continuously refine organizational roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and governance workflows to enhance overall communication rhythm and leadership team operating norms.
• Special Assignments & Business Proxy -Lead high-impact, ambiguous strategic assignments directly delegated by the Executive Director or the segment leadership. Represent and serve as the proxy for the Strategy, BD, and JV departments in selected internal and external high-level engagements.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline; a Master or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• Experience - 8+ years of progressive experience in PMO, Strategy, Corporate Development, Business Transformation, or Chief of Staff roles within a large multinational or matrixed corporate setup.
