Job summary

ByteDance Singapore is hiring a developer to design and implement the application proxy and security gateway for Sealsuite, focusing on high availability, high performance, and scalability in a global enterprise setting. You will work on Zero Trust, SWG, CASB and AI security features, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support international business scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 1 year of development experience
• Proficiency in one of C++, Go, Java, or Rust; familiarity with databases, caching, message queues, and long-lived connections
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals; commitment to code quality and engineering excellence
• Experience with Layer 4/Layer 7 proxy, security gateway, or VPN development; able to analyze and solve high-concurrency, large-scale problems
• Self-motivated, proactive, with good teamwork, communication skills and a customer‑oriented mindset (B2B focus)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the application proxy and security gateway architecture for Sealsuite, building a highly available, high-performance, and scalable system.
• Drive feature development and technical optimization for Zero Trust (ZTNA), SWG, CASB, and AI security solutions, supporting international business scenarios.
