Job summary

COMBUILDER PTE LTD is seeking a skilled software engineer to develop and maintain security-sensitive, network-facing applications in Singapore. You will work with Go, Python, NodeJS and/or Rust, implement network protocols, and integrate cryptographic functions to ensure robust security.

You will collaborate with security, platform and infrastructure teams, contribute to testing, code reviews, and vulnerability fixes while improving performance, reliability and efficiency of backend services.

Qualifications

• Strong development experience in Go, Python, NodeJS and/or Rust.
• Good understanding of network programming.
• Knowledge of secure coding, authentication, authorisation and common security threats.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments.
• Good understanding of testing, CI/CD and software development practices.
• Experience with backend systems, databases, caching and microservices.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Interest in using AI tools to support software development and learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software for security-sensitive and network-facing applications.
• Develop and integrate software using Go, Python, NodeJS and/or Rust.
• Work with networking and security protocols, including TCP/UDP, sockets and TLS.
• Integrate cryptographic functions using established libraries.
• Improve software performance, reliability and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain unit, integration and security tests.
• Participate in code reviews, security reviews and vulnerability fixes.
• Troubleshoot and contribute to services written in Go, C++ or Python.
• Work closely with security, platform and infrastructure teams.
