Job summary

ByteDance is seeking an experienced engineer to help manage the Corporate Information System (CIS) that supports multiple business domains, ensuring reliability, security and scalable operation. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Solid basic knowledge of computer software; understanding of the Linux operating system, storage IO and related principles.
• Proficiency in one or more of Python/Go/C++.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Focus on compliance data center's lifecycle management, cost reduction, efficiency improvement and stability.
• Be responsible for reliability and stability of ByteDance's compliance data center and SLA of core PnS products.
• Participate in design, development and improvement of stability-related products.
• Review current architecture, identify risks and promote solutions to reduce risks.
• Build and improve monitoring, alarm mechanisms, contingency plans and incident reviews.
• Apply new technologies to support teams and improve overall service operation quality.
