Job summary

Convergint Asia Pacific is seeking a qualified engineer in Singapore to install, test, commission, and program security equipment, ensuring adherence to standards and high customer satisfaction.

The role requires a diploma or bachelor’s in Electronic/Computer IT/Automation/Mechanical Engineering, 2–5 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with security hardware, networks, CCTV, and access control systems. Lenel, GE, Cisco, and S2 knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in security/electronic project implementation and commissioning.
• Experience with security access control, CCTV, and alarm systems is advantageous.
• Basic IT knowledge in security hardware, network and database.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and program security equipment in compliance with company policies and standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to security systems.
• Conduct on-site training sessions for clients.

Discovering the role

The primary responsibility of this role is the installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming of security equipment in adherence to Convergint's standards. The objective is to maintain excellent engineering project quality while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• 2-5 years of relevant working experience in security, electronic, or small electronic project implementation and commissioning, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Possess basic IT knowledge in security hardware, network, and database.
• Experience with security access control systems, CCTV, and alarm system products/systems is advantageous.
• Previous exposure to Lenel, GE, Cisco, and S2 systems is a clear advantage.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Display a quick learning ability and a strong focus on client service.
