As a Security Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily security operations and ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and hotel assets. You'll supervise Security Officers and Guards during assigned shifts, ensuring that security procedures, patrol schedules, access control measures, and safety standards are consistently followed. Working closely with the Assistant Safety & Security Manager and other hotel departments, you'll monitor incidents, conduct investigations when required, maintain accurate security records, and respond effectively to emergencies. Through your strong leadership, vigilance, and commitment to safety, you'll support Hilton's standards in protecting the hotel premises while providing guests and team members with a secure and welcoming environment.

Job Description & Requirements

As theSecurity Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Supervise each security operationshift,making sureadequate patrol patterns and frequencies are maintained to ensure the security of guests andteammembers.
• Familiarizewith and check hotel fire equipmentandfire evacuation passages.
• EnsureSecurity Guards reportmaintenance issues totheEngineering departmentpromptly as recorded during their patrols.
• Familiarizewith each department'swork procedures,security knowledgeandemergency procedures, supervisingeach position'sprofessional knowledge and work standards.
• Conduct random bag inspections oft teammembers entering and leaving the building.
• Ensure asset removal policy is adhered to, to prevent hotel assetsfrombeing removed without proper authorization.
• Arrange escort services forteammembers carrying cash, where required.
• Maintain perimeter patrols at points of entry and egress to ensure thatthere are no loiterers in thehotel premise.
• Professionallyexamineteammembers'work knowledge,disciplineand responsibilities.
• Responsible forteammembers'dailyshiftworkscheduleand attendance record.
• Convey and carry outthedepartment'swork arrangements and training plans.
• Conduct random inspections of thehotel to ensure security practices are being followed,fire exits are not blocked, equipment is not obstructing fire hose reel doors,sufficientclearance between stacked goods and sprinkler heads.
• Take appropriate action to resolve guests'complaints, communicatingprofessionally and effectivelywith guests.
• Be familiar with current first aid and fire emergency procedures.
• Ensure a high level of cleanlinessandtidinessin yourwork area.
• Maintaina professional appearanceup to Hiltonstandards, demonstratinggoodattitude and behaviour at all times.
• Interactwithteammembers in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promote team spirit and ensure effective two-way communication.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
