Job summary

AIA is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead the SOC team in monitoring, incident response, and threat intelligence to strengthen the organisation's security posture. You will drive strategic initiatives and ensure compliance with security standards across the enterprise.

The role requires extensive experience in cyber security, incident management, and security operations, with a focus on cloud, network, and endpoint security.

Qualifications

• 12 years of tech experience with at least 7–10 years in cyber security in a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity incident management including identification, containment, response, recovery and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud, Cyber Monitoring, Vulnerability Management, and Cyber Threat Intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the SOC team in real-time monitoring of security events and alerts from SIEM, firewalls, and EDR.
• Oversee incident handling end-to-end and ensure actions meet SLAs.
• Improve incident response playbooks, triage, containment, and post-incident reviews.
• Lead security posture initiatives across cloud, network, endpoint, and server security.
• Collaborate with governance and compliance teams to address security gaps from audits.
• Drive security metrics and reporting for management attention.
