Job summary

Pinpoint Asia Infotech Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Security Operations Lead to own the Security Operations pillar and provide operational and technical support to the Incident Response Manager. You'll oversee monitoring, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, security awareness, and posture reporting, with the managed SOC as external partner.

You'll lead a lean team, responsible for on-call rota, hands-on tooling, and security metrics aligned to MAS and NIST

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security operations, with 2+ years leading a function in a regulated environment.
• Experience supporting major incidents from detection to post-incident review.
• Experience owning an outsourced SOC or MDR provider and enforcing SLAs.
• Operational depth with Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR, including KQL and hunting.
• Ability to set detection strategy using MITRE ATT&CK and drive threat intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of the Security Operations pillar, including monitoring, detection, and posture reporting.
• Manage the outsourced SOC relationship with governance, SLAs, and reporting.
• Provide hands-on support to the Incident Response Manager across the incident lifecycle.
• Direct technical investigations during major incidents and coordinate inputs from SOC and IT.
• Deliver accurate technical facts, timelines, and impact assessments for communications and regulatory workflows.
• Contribute to tabletop exercises and implement lessons learned through improvements.
• Set detection strategy, mapping to MITRE ATT&CK, and prioritize detection engineering.
• Govern vulnerability and patch SLAs across infrastructure teams.
• Develop and mentor the Security Operations Analyst; manage on-call rota.
• Maintain security metrics and audit-ready evidence aligning with MAS and NIST guidelines.
