Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking an L2 Cybersecurity Engineer (Network Security) to provide Level-2 support for enterprise security tools, manage incidents, and help harden networks across LAN/WAN, VPNs, and cloud boundaries.

You will mentor junior staff, maintain security SOPs, and ensure compliance with financial industry regulations while coordinating with global teams on upgrades and new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Science or related field.
• 5+ years in network security operations; 2+ years in financial services preferred.
• Hands-on experience with network security tools and monitoring.
• Ability to diagnose complex network/security issues; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level-2 support for network security tools and infrastructure.
• Handle incident management, change requests and vulnerability remediation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/VPNs and DNS/DHCP services.
• Maintain security SOPs, CMDB records and audit-ready docs.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations (AML, data breach reporting).
• Mentor Level-1 teams and conduct security awareness training.
• Support security upgrades and emerging technology implementations.
