Job summary

Securitas Guarding Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Security Executive to lead on-site security operations, manage teams, and uphold high standards for safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PRD Grade of Security Supervisor (SS) rank.
• Diploma in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as an Operations Executive or Security Executive.
• Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office, etc.).
• Experience handling information and intelligence, interpreting security threats and risks, and managing investigations.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills; ability to present to all levels.

THE JOB

The Security Executive reports to the Security Manager. This role involves direct management and operational responsibility, and ensuring customer and company satisfaction.

Oversee and manage all day-to-day aspects of site operations, including people & performance, and administrative matters. Create an enabling, positive environment where individuals take responsibility in carrying out their duties and work together as a team on-site to deliver them. Set clear protocols and objectives, and lead by example.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee day-to-day security operations and processes, including access control, surveillance systems, and incident response.

• Managing a team of security personnel, including security guards, security control room operators and security operations staff.

• Ensuring the proper maintenance and operation of security equipment and systems.

• Conducting regular audits and assessments of security systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.

• Developing and implementing standard operating procedures for security operations.

• Collaborating with other departments to integrate security measures and ensure consistent security practices.

• Developing and conducting security training programs for employees.

• Responding to security incidents and emergencies, including coordinating with local law enforcement and other relevant organizations.

• Facilitate internal/external physical security audits and track corrective and preventive actions till closure.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Country Security Manager/ delegated personnel.

• To conduct audits as required by the site, on a monthly, quarterly & yearly basis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must hold a valid PRD Grade of Security Supervisor (SS) rank.

• Diploma in a relevant field.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as an Operations Executive or Security Executive in the security industry.

• Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft applications, etc.).

• Experience handling information and intelligence, interpreting security threats and risks, and managing investigations.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are critical, as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze semi-quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope.

• Ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the enterprise.

• Independent, well-organized, and with a good work attitude.

• Flexible and adaptable.

• Flexibility with working hours (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays).

• Have to undergo background checks and security screening.
