Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Security Analyst to join the IT Risk & Security team in Singapore. You will administer and maintain key security technologies (WAF, IPS, DAM), monitor alerts and logs, and work with SOC partners to contain threats across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

You will perform hands-on triage, contribute to incident response, and leverage SIEM, analytics, and automation to detect patterns.

Qualifications

• 35 years of cybersecurity experience, with hands-on WAF/IPS/DAM.
• Experience in financial institutions or regulated environments preferred.
• Hands-on WAF onboarding, policies, and bot/DDoS controls.
• Experience with IPS signatures, policy tuning, and investigation.
• DAM onboarding, monitoring across cloud and on-premises environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, configure, and troubleshoot WAF, IPS, and DAM solutions.
• Onboard internet-facing applications to WAF and critical databases to DAM for monitoring.
• Monitor, analyse, and investigate security alerts, logs, traffic anomalies, and suspicious activity.
• Triage and investigate cybersecurity incidents across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external SOC providers on incident investigation, containment, remediation and closure.
• Use SIEM, analytics, data visualisation, automation, AI, and ML to correlate security data and support investigations.
