Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Security Analyst to join the IT Risk & Security team. You will administer and maintain WAF, IPS and DAM technologies, monitor alerts and logs, and act as a hands-on first responder for security incidents across cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments.

Collaborating with internal teams and external SOC partners, you will investigate incidents, containment, remediation, and closure.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of cybersecurity experience with hands‑on WAF/IPS/DAM administration and investigations.
• Experience in a financial institution or regulated environment preferred.
• WAF onboarding, DNS-zone onboarding, policies and rules, bot/DDoS controls, attack analysis, tuning.
• IPS inline prevention, signatures, severity, and exploitation investigation; firewall‑integrated IPS advantageous.
• DAM onboarding, agents/log sources, and database‑access investigations across cloud and on‑premises.
• Strong skills in analyzing security events, logs, HTTP/S traffic, and packet data.
• Ability to correlate data sources, identify IOCs, and document investigations.
• Solid grounding in TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, APIs, web app architecture, and OWASP Top 10.
• Experience with SIEM, ticketing systems, detection tuning, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Ability to use scripting, analytics, automation, or AI tools to process security data.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, configure, and troubleshoot WAF, IPS, and DAM solutions.
• Onboard internet-facing apps to WAF and DAM monitoring.
• Monitor, analyze, and investigate security alerts, logs, and anomalies.
• Triage and investigate cybersecurity incidents across cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external SOC providers on incident handling.
• Use SIEM, analytics, data visualization, automation, AI to correlate data and support investigations.
• Analyze network and application traffic against baselines to identify anomalies and IOC.
• Continuously monitor and track security events and requests to closure.
• Support security readiness exercises, including Red Team/tabletop/cyber-range simulations.
• Apply ethical hacking and vulnerability assessment knowledge to identify threats.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly security operations metrics and reports.
• Manage vendor maintenance and support for security systems.
• Stay current with emerging cyber threats and technologies.
