Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd is seeking a Securities Reference Data Control Specialist to uphold accuracy and integrity of bond and issuer static data within GFMO. You will drive operational excellence through data governance and technology enhancements.

The role involves collaborating with Treasury dealers, Relationship Managers, and finance teams, maintaining bond attributes, and leading UAT for static data requirements. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide setup and maintenance of bond and issuer label configuration across core Treasury systems (SDWT, Murex, Front Arena, CORE).
• Ensure timely creation and maintenance of static data requests within defined SLAs.
• Maintain accurate bond-related attributes (coupon, maturity, day count, settlement conventions, corporate action events) by bridging data between Bloomberg and custodian sources.
• Conduct root cause analysis for risk items and identify data integrity enhancement opportunities.
• Liaise with Treasury dealers, Relationship Managers, Finance, and other processing teams to resolve bond-related data issues.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve Straight-Through Processing (STP) and overall operational efficiency.
• Participate in departmental data transformation initiatives.
• Document new and amended processes, ensuring documentation is aligned with Group standards.
• Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for static data requirements.
• Maintain the highest standards of data accuracy, adhering to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
