Job summary

OCBC is seeking a detail-oriented professional to maintain accurate static and reference data used by Treasury platforms and downstream processes. You will support trade capture, accounting, settlement and reporting with a focus on data quality and control across multiple systems.

Work closely with Global Markets, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance and external data providers to resolve data dependencies and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Good knowledge of Treasury products such as securities, derivatives, FX and money markets.
• Understanding of front-to-back trade processing and related risks and controls.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in automation, data quality and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain approved counterparty, issuer, instrument, security, settlement-instruction, calendar, portfolio and other reference-data records.
• Review data requests for completeness and approvals.
• Perform maker or checker activities with segregation of duties.
• Apply data standards, naming conventions and effective dates consistently.
• Monitor data requests and meet service levels and cut-offs.
• Investigate data issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Maintain controlled repositories for validated settlement instructions and records.
• Support data quality checks, reconciliations and procedure reviews.
• Engage with multiple teams to resolve data dependencies and gaps.
• Identify opportunities to automate data sourcing and validation.
